at Kidscreen Summit Virtual 2022!

Ongoing COVID-19 uncertainty has unfortunately made it impossible for us to host a live Asian Animation Summit event this year, and we are postponing those plans until November/December 2022. Instead, we will be presenting a showcase of brand-new animation projects from Asia-Pacific to the international marketplace at Kidscreen Summit Virtual (March 7 to 11, 2022). The experience will be different, but the goal is the same—to connect producers behind the region’s strongest animated projects with investors and partners who can take them to the next level.

Each regional partner runs its own selection process for Showcase and Development projects using the same eligibility criteria. Producers based in South Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Queensland, Thailand and Taiwan who are interested in being part of AAS@KSS should get in touch with the relevant screen agency in their region for more information about how and when to apply.
