Libbie Doherty, Bluey’s champion at ABC Australia, will share her content development know-how with AAS attendees

Libbie Doherty

Co-CEO of the recently launched production company Run Wild Media and former head of ABC Children and Family LIBBIE DOHERTY will kick off AAS 2024 with a can’t-miss presentation on how to successfully develop kids content for the international marketplace.

Drawing on nearly a decade of experience overseeing all of ABC Australia’s programming for children, from pitch to premiere, Libbie commissioned and executive produced megahit preschool series Bluey with BBC Studios, as well as shaping and championing other acclaimed titles such as horror-comedy Crazy Fun Park, Indigenous series Little J and Big Cuz, teen drama First Day and puppet show Beep and Mort.

She’s delighted to join us in Taiwan to share her insights on the process of crafting a winning concept that will take the world by storm.

Dubit to explore the Creator Generation at AAS 2024

David Kleeman

We are delighted to announce that next month’s Asian Animation Summit will feature a data-driven presentation about the user-generated ecosystem for kids animation, presented by Dubit SVP of Global Trends DAVID KLEEMAN.

The Creator Generation: Opportunities in Animation
With user-generated platforms offering virtually everyone the tools to create animated content—and growing at a rapid pace while our industry grapples with cost-cutting and less appetite for risk—there’s been a lot of discussion lately about the future of creator-driven animation. And AI is about to turbo-charge everything.

There's also plenty of opportunity at the intersection of these trends, opening up possibilities for launching ideas on new platforms; for turning “lean-back” experiences into “lean-forward” ones; for telling parts of your stories in different places; and for starting conversations with fans that can take your brand engagement to new heights.
